My boys who are hearing like you did the same thing to me and my husband, but what they did was awful! They would wrap the rubber band around the handle of the hose so when I turn on the faucet, the water would spray all over me or their dad from the hose! The boys had a great time laughing at us. You bad boys! tee hee! This story remind me of what happened in a motel where my friends stayed in Ocean City, MD. How stupid of me forget turn the water off from the kitchen sink. What happened was when we came back to the motel from the beach, we didn't realize there was so flood everywhere even in the living room and ruin the carpet. So, they had to rent dry vaccum. My friends blamed and pissed off at me but forgave me later on.
