Precisely my point... your lastest comment said it all. Deaf Power. To date DBC is about ASL Powerhouse. Thanks for the confirmation.

I LAUGHED SO HARD THAT I ALMOST PEED IN MY PANTS!!!
The most imporant thing you said was at the very end; we can all be friends !! It really doesnt matter if you are a new signer or old singer; as long as we can COMMUNICATE with one another we can all be FRIENDS..
I gotta go PEE NOW

Ha Ha Love you !!!
I hate for these women asking me if I could read their lips because so often women forgot that they do have 4 lips.

dr: Just lighten up! This is just a joke, not a document, to confirm your so-called theory.

The DBC did not even mention anything about Deaf power, duh!

Obviously, you don't know the difference between what is real and what is not. Go and get a life!

Right on the money about these philosophical comparison! I've grown up both worlds and I know how frustrated it might have felt growing up orally. Gosh, ASL opens up my world! Good job, dudes!

This is the perfect skit to show those untrained hearing parents!! A sample of their supposedly placed on oralism kids' future!

:D

cooldeaf and HEARING babies need to have ASL because their vocal isn't ready so how the hell the babies can communicated. Put on Sunglasses, parents! You both crack me up!

Very funny ... I can see that guy with a blue shirt giggling all the way because of the Deaf Oralist's acting. You put a huge smile on my face today.

I er, could actually, ummm, read your lips, and umm, I think oralism is not too bad, if I can read your lips like that, er, with big mouth movements, umm, maybe stick my tongue out while I talk like that, er, not withstanding that I bite myself, ouch, anybody have hydrogen peroxide, umm, to kill the germs?

Oh, umm, am I cute when I talk? Do I talk good? Is my speech perfect? Do I cause you to get into a trance when I talk?

Oh, er, thank you, for the applause, I feel so good!

thanks for making us laugh

it was very funny watching the ASL brother try not to laugh

well done

really clever and cute and YEAH that is one of the main points - WE ARE ALL BROTHERS and SISTERS

raising someone oral/aural only separates Deaf folks from EACH OTHER - that was really actually one of AG Bell's goal - to keep Deaf people apart so they dont breed

it is often true that Deaf bilingualists will go to super human efforts to sit down and chat - no matter what someone's background is

keep making us laugh - it is good for the soul

peace

Very funny! No wonder why you two cracked me up. I grew up in oral and ASL too.. My grandmother knew ASL before I was born...My mother and her mother had a big fight over which education was better for me... Apparently, my grandmother won... She was a menasch (Yiddish word for a cool person)
