I could be one of parents cannot hear.. One of two daughters always sometime yelled at me. I heard little.. I am not lying ot my kids. I admitted lying to my daughters.

Forgive me. I am not CODA.. I am kind of gasped when one of my daughter mad at me.. I wish my kids asking me question. I lied my girl less 20 percent I can hear them.

Tiny sound?

Could you please post a captioned version of your vlogs? I had some difficulty understanding this one. You guys can hear, so it shouldn't be too hard for you to add captions at Overstream.net for instance. You could always ask Bill Creswell for help!

Funny vlog!!  I've read some books written by CODAs on their life experiences with their deaf parents.  And they said the same thing.  Guess it's an universal thing among them.I wonder, from a psychological perspective, if this is a subconscious wish/desire for their parents to be hearing??!

Hi,

You guys are soooo funny and so great! Funny that you think your parents lie about not hearing anything.. My hearing brother once told me that he thought I was pretending to be deaf. I laughed sooo hard because I was 2 when it was realized I was deaf. I told him I didn't think a 2 year old kid could pretend. (((grinnning))) Actually, I am hard of hearing but attended a school for the deaf...great job, brothers....
