you guys always inspire me and love to watch your funny stories.
yes I do experience when I enter hearing church and I sit front row for Deaf people. I always feel little bit uncomfortable because of all hearing people pretty much full in rows because we are only few Deaf people. of course preach always special inspire me. sometimes I sign songs but not always. that normal for hearing people are curious watch interpter or watch Deaf people who we are. I dont want them to think we Deaf are sterotype that not true. we Deaf are different people. yeah Iam really looking for your DVD you better guys have super funny stories on DVD!! smile!

My eyes are so teary as I type at this moment. You reminded me of my memories I had in church when attending with a Deaf friend of mine and both of our parents who are Deaf as well. We signed a lot of jokes and had to get a grip of ourselves from making outbursts during Mass. It was hysterical so I could relate to your experiences well. Can't wait for your DVD release!

FUNNY! I remember going to hearing church with my cousins without interpreters and I got bored. I did get cousins' attentions and only they said ssshhh shhhhh. After that, I did not want to go there with them again and went to other church that had interpreters or deaf service. Today, I sometimes go to church that has interpreters and my kids sit still and quiet with me unless they sit with their friends (I am sure that they whisper little) or go to children/teenagers services being with friends. OFC!!
Looking forward to seeing your dvd.

Man. I thought you guys were deaf, and couldn't hear my talking about you, and didn't notice me staring. :)

We hearing/sign language impaired are such an embarrassment to ourselves.

Thanks for the stories!

I love going to a hearing church and sitting in the front row. There, I can motion to my ASL interpreter, "handwaves" cuz it's such a great sermon, get up and go all the way down the church aisle to the bathroom that is in the church lobby, and I just absolutely love it when my key chains on my jeans rattle as I walk all the way back to the front row as everybody is praying, and I can sign to my Deaf friend commenting how shiny the pastor's shoes are, and the pastor is wondering why the heckuva I am pointing at his feet, maybe the pastor is starting to wonder if he is doing a "little dance" during his sermon when all we were talking about was how shiny his shoes seemed...and instead of going behind the entire's church's back, we can gossip about everyone in the front row in FRONT of everyone. That's called "honest, upfront gossip". And when the congregation are singing hymns, we chat as we swing back and forth in harmony with everyone. Wow. What a blissful harmony!

OLSON BROTHERS ARE DA BOMB!! LOVE your vlogs, always gets me in stitches (laughing)!
Oh what memories of growing up going to churches. When I was little, I tried to talk to my mother, she'd say, "Shhhh!", I tried again, she would say, "What?! No talking, just whisper..." I talked very low, she kept telling me "Shhhh!!". YEARS later, I found out what whisper means...no voice at all! I thought it meant low voice.
As we got older, my sister and I would go to church to pick up a copy of that day's sermon/songs papers...then leave and drive to a diner and eat breakfast. We get home (pretending from church) and give our mother the paper as proof that we "went" to church! Lol!
Keep up telling stories, love it! Hurry and get your dvd out to us soon! Happy Thanksgiving! :-)
