I bet in your house there was a lot of laughter; your parents raised two hillarious children. what do YOUR kids look like? Does YOUR wife sign?

I know your parents. I hope your mom's feelings weren't hurt too badly by this vlog - some of the things you said might have (I hope you know what comments I am referring to). Your mom is one of the nicest people I know and doesn't deserve to be mocked in public.

While you do have good comedic timing, its pretty crappy to possibly hurt your mom just to show that off.

What a spooky parent you have !!! It sure was GREAT that they were NOT shy showing their affectionate in front of V BLOG! (Winks)

I love watching your vlogs!

My parents started off with the whole yelling our names bit as well when it was time to come home. When they realized it wasn't doing much good, my dad went out and bought a whistle. To this day, I hate the sounds of whistles. I guess it worked though. So much so that we would try to be home before the whistle blew. LOL

Keep up the great work!!

Great vlog as always!!! It is interesting to note that "Jerry" mentioned that "Sandra" has good English skills and nothing was mentioned about "Jerry"s good ASL skills. Why does English get more weigh than ASL. I wonder. It is time for us to recognize ASL equally with English because without ASL, you CODA brothers probably will never exist. smile.

Joey, we couldn't agree more! As a DHH teacher its always is funny to see the "weight" put on English. When studies prove as ASL skills increase- so does English (nothing new stated!). I read somewhere, maybe you can refresh my memory, that as the ASL skills increased in HEARING students their ability to comprehend computational mathamatics went up as well-can't remember how they tested that one...I'll dig around for that article-it's very interesting!
Also, future vlog: MLS (Minimal Language Skills)-it's funny to see how even in the Deaf/interpreter world the use of MLS. I've encountered far too many "MLS" individuals who should have been labeled SAA (Super Awesome ASL)...food for thought...when we created-meet our parents-we knew that it may seem that English was portrayed as better than ASL, but, at times: that's what we saw, we now know better!... and you're right, without ASL and our SAA parents we wouldn't be who we are!

This is to acknowledge that I read your response to my thought - thanks! It was great meeting you Ben and I look forward to meet Andrew soon!
